Reset Nervous System
One of my favorite new kriyas from today’s class was lying on the back, raising the legs at 30 degrees, and shaking vigorously.
After doing a lot of leg exercises we sat on the heels for a number of asanas. I found an intense energy building up in my legs that was near unbarable. I kept reminded myself that it is just tensed and long time suppressed energy that I had to stay calm through. As we were in the poses, Elizabeth talked about how Kundalini Yoga teaches us to withstand an extreme flow of energy. So I maintained and have found the wisdom to apply well to other moments of my life.
After the sitted on heal poses, we laid back while still in heel pose. This is not something I was able to do and apparently Yogi Bhajan said that is because their is disease in the body.
