I’m even more grateful for the local Kundalini Yoga classes we have in DC when I don’t get time to practice between classes. This week was one of those, and after a few late, late nights of work since Wednesday’s class it was great to come to this morning’s class focusing on getting the apana moving and letting go of stress and anger.
We closed with the meditation for the lower triangle, which involves putting the thumbs to the pad below the pinky fingers and taking both arms up, right arm all the way up and left arm at 60 degrees. 11 minutes of pure breakthrough. It was one of those classes where I don’t want to get up from meditation at the end.
