Working Against Depression

Feeling the need to combat anger and depression this morning I worked through the kriya to conquer depression and then meditation to prepare for disasters.

I have to say I was surprised that I was even able to do wheel pose, let alone for a minute straight.  Keeping it going for the entire 5 minutes did not quite happen, but it’s something I can work towards.  I’m also noticing that a lot of the poses that work on depression or stress or anger include the shaking and bouncing vigorously on the back.

I am beginning to like the meditation to prepare for an earthquake quite a bit although I can’t seem to feel my breath on my fingers, nor do my fingers shake.  This is one of those times when I wish I had a bit more instruction on how to properly do some of the meditations.
