Kriya for Overcoming Sickness

I came down with a pretty terrible cold yesterday and didn’t have the energy or desire to bring myself to the mat.  Today, however, while still feeling week, I felt I had energy I needed to burn off to help my body stay strong.

I started off with a meditation I remember Yogi Bhajan teaching to heal sickness.  It turns out I was doing the meditation wrong, and had my hands hugging my shoulders instead of cupped in front of the chest, but the intention must have been there because I feel it helped!

Later I did some self message, relaxation poses, and pranayams on my back before going into a long, restful sleep.
