The Kriya and Meditation
We had a lovely class last night where we learned a Kriya to help prepare for Yoga Nidra, the deep lucid state of Yogic sleep. The kirya ends with one sleeping for at least 31 minutes. For the whole class I played theta wave deep relaxation music.
This it’s not very common to rest that long (even in a Kundalini class where we often do things for a long time), I gave the students the option to sit up halfway through and do some work to move the glandular system. To finish the class, in honor of Yogi Bhajan’s birthday, we chanted long Ek Ong Kars.
Practice At Home
First, download the Kriya for Achieving a Comfortable, Happy Sleep and then listen to Krishna Kaur talk about and demonstrate how to chant long Ek Ong Kars.
Happy Birthday to Yogi Bhajan!!! Thank you for all of the teachings and technologies you have passed on for us in the Aquarian Age. If you would like to learn more about the man, start here with this short bio and links for quotes, stories, lectures, etc.
