I really love when things work the way they do. This week I taught this class on Monday at the 729 CommUnity Center and then attended it the very next night at the Baba Siri Chand Ashram. Since moving to Florida for a new job I have had to do a 15 minute drive to work. To make my time in the car as enjoyable and productive as possible I have worked out a car pranayama set. As I learn more about how to move breath through the body using the locks I have begun to get quite a bit of a high from deep inhalation. I know that this is not the goal of pranayama, but it sure is a nice added benefit. I also have found that unless I keep my spine straight (or properly curved) that I have a hard time taking a full breath.
